About Pioneer Mining Co.

Pioneer Mining Company owns and operates a surface placer mining operation in a remote region of south-central Alaska. The assets/claims that PMC controls encompass approximately 12,000+ acres of land for exploration and mining in the Ophir Mining District with 12 miles of patented private mining claims on Ganes Creek. We also control 101 State Mining claims within our holdings. The state claims are being explored for lode gold potential, while the patented claims will be mined by surface mining methods.

Ganes Creek was previously owned as a family operation for 28 years by a native Alaskan family. PMC employs a management team, miners, geologists, drill crews, survey teams, and logistics companies to complete its objectives. Along with its board of directors, we all collectively come together to identify, prove up, and extract precious metals while simultaneously provide for our employees and their families.
